WSSKP-1

The WSSKP-1 keypad provides an alternative to card readers and may be connected to any Keyscan control unit or other manufacturer’s control unit that supports a Wiegand standard 26-bit format as an input signal. The WSSKP-1 can also be used conjointly with a proximity reader. Generally, this applies to a retro-fit where a keypad or reader already exists. The WSSKP-1 has standalone capabilities storing up to 28 PIN codes. The stored PIN codes can be used to activate an alarm panel for arming and disarming, locking and unlocking a door, or triggering a video surveillance system. The WSSKP-1 keypad can be used for both Wiegand signal and digital output. The WSSKP-1 is a rugged, water-resistant, stainless steel unit and may be installed indoors or outdoors.

  • WSSKP-1 supports industry standard 26 bit Wiegand data or proprietary Keyscan 36 bit format, it can be used with either a Keyscan ACU or with alternate control units supporting standard 26 bit data 
  • Three digit facility codes can easily be activated for installations using site or facility codes from 001 to 255 
  • Braille keypad permits use in premises that are accessible to visually impaired 
  • In stand alone applications, PIN’s can be set up to be either 3, 4 or 5 digits to suit the customer’s security requirements 
  • Any single PIN can be changed OR all PIN’s can be deleted with simple keypad command sequences for stand alone applications 
  • As many as 28 distinct PIN codes can be programmed into the WSSKP-1 for stand alone operation
